ઇતિહાસ

The history of Ram Mandir is intertwined with the ancient city of Ayodhya, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. After centuries of devotion, the grand temple was inaugurated in January 2024.

સ્થાપત્ય

The temple rises 161 feet with three storeys, built in Nagara architectural style using pink sandstone from Rajasthan and Bansi Paharpur stone. The sanctum houses the divine idol of Ram Lalla in child form.

Intricate carvings depicting scenes from Ramayan adorn the pillars and walls, while the temple complex includes prayer halls, museums, and pilgrim facilities.

Ram Mandir is not merely a structure but a living symbol of faith, unity, and cultural heritage. It serves as the focal point of Ayodhya pilgrimage and draws devotees seeking blessings of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram.

Online registration is recommended during peak seasons. Free darshan and special darshan slots are available through the official portal.

Visitor Guidelines

Dress modestly covering shoulders and knees. Mobile phones and cameras are not allowed inside the sanctum. Maintain silence and follow queue discipline. Footwear must be deposited at designated counters.
